I didn't see this product in person before I ordered this online. When I received it, it was a bit bigger than I thought. However, it works really well to hold the GPS unit. I have Garmin 650 and it does not slide from the top of the dashborad at all. Also, there is no suction cup mark on the windshield so no more worries about a car theft.

MUCH better than the windshield mount and portable
Strengths: Does not leave suction cup marks on windshield, block field of view, doesn't move around at all, easily portable to other vehicles.
Weakness: Little pricey, but it's genuine Garmin and it works great
I was very skeptical of this product before I bought it simply because the weight of the package was not substantial enough to make me believe that it would both support the GPS angled off it, as well as not slide around my dash, especially the way I drive with my HEMI, BUT IT DOES.
