A great system form HD and Music
Strengths: HD radio, Net radio, Rhapsody, XM/Sirus. New HD movie formats DD-DTS, HDMI 1.3a, Network-DLNA, powerful, quality build.
Weakness: Setup takes a while, manual could be written a little better. Firmware needed to fix a few bugs.
This AV is a beast! Great power and loads of features. I did a lot of research and it was between this and the Denon 4208ci. The Yamaha sound is very good and there are plenty of DSP modes or listen pure.
There is a ton of options for music (HD-Net), if you have an internet connection a world of Net stations are open to you and they sound great.
Overall I would recommend the Yamaha Z7...it is a quality device and once you get it setup correctly it will provide you with many many hours of music/movie enjoyment.
