Strengths: i7 comes standard now in this model and is much faster than the previous i5 model. Screen resolution is amazing for editing pics/video. Video card major plus.
Weakness: Gets a little hot for the lap and recommend a case/cooler.
Great laptop that has all the bells and whistles. A lot of additions from previous model, HD camera, beefed up video card, i7 processor, new trackpad and lighter weight all major+++++. Only negatives so far that are not a surprise is that it heats pretty fast. Overall you get what you pay for!

LOVE IT!
Strengths: screen clarity, usability, functionality, appearance
Weakness: screen glare, gets pretty hot without laptop cooler.
Just converted to a MAC about 3 weeks ago and I'm loving it! I was hesitant at first due to a completely different OS than Windows, but I'm glad I made the decision to. This "MBP" has a great 15.4" screen, the resolution & clarity of the screen is wonderful. The trackpad takes getting used to, but nothing to complain about. Love this machine! It makes editing pictures a breeze, and the OS is very user-friendly once you get the hang of it!
The cons of this MPB is that screen glare is a problem, but can be solved with an anti-glare screen; also, the MPB gets pretty hot without a laptop cooler, so I highly suggest one!
