Point and Shoot made easier and more fun

I have just bought this camera from a local dealer. Upon initial testing in the real world, the DSC-W310 has performed better than any other compact cameras I've used before; intelligent auto focus feature really does work well (as with the other cams, i had to use a manual setting for different scenes to attain good quality).
The "smile shutter" also works great as with the face detection. Another cool feature is it's MS-Pro Duo / SD-SDHC combo card slot, I can use different media aside from the supplied 4GB MS-Pro; fast USB 2.0 transport; Multi-function port for connecting AV out and PC interface; macro-mode works well.
The only downside I can see as of the time being is it's lack of Auto-focus Illuminator which tends to slow-down if not completely hinder the auto-focus from doing it's job.
Overall, the SONY DSC-W310 is a great compact camera for beginners, hobbyists and for everyday shooting.
